Ministry of Transportation has just officially announced to provide international driving license from March 15th.
In pursuant to the 1968 International Convention on Road Traffic and Convention on Road Signs and Signals, a Vietnamese civic with international driving license shall be allowed to drive in countries which signed the convention (85 countries) without taking any driving lesson, test for license in the host country. The international driving license shall make it convenient for people to work, study or live abroad.
