Enterprises are glad with the traffic restriction removal

The workers (employees) need to strictly comply with the epidemic prevention and control regulations in the trafficking and movement such as the medical declarations via the PC-Covid-19 application, having the employee cards, company uniforms in order to be identified at the checkpoint when Dong Nai Province no longer issues the traffic permits.

Mr. Vu Minh Quang, General Director of Quang Phat Co., Ltd (Long Thanh District) said that in early October, 2021, the company has resumed the operation after the break from the epidemic. 500 workers out of a total of more than 3,000 living in the "green zones" are eligible to return to work. Because some employees who commuted everyday by personal vehicles, their companies had to contacted the Local People's Committees for applying the commuting certification.

Issuance of the traffic permits by the local government has faced many confusion and difficulties. In many cases, the employees have to travel many times, provide the local government with all kinds of documents to be certified and issued the traffic permits. Recently, the Provincial People's Committee has decided to no longer issue the above traffic permits that makes the enterprises very happy.

“The company has its own uniforms for the employees, ID cards to enter and exit the workplaces. Therefore, it will be convenient to identify when going through the checkpoints of the epidemic prevention and control. In addition, we also ask our employees to strictly comply with the commitment on the trafficking distances from their homes to the company in order to ensure the prevention and control of the epidemic, " Mr. Quang said.

Ms. Ho Thi My Nu, in charge of the Human Resources at a company specializing in providing the spare parts for the industrial machines to the enterprises in the Long Binh Industrial Zone (Bien Hoa City), said that over the past time, the enterprise has registered to issue the traffic permits for 15 employees in order to maintain the minimum activities during the period of tightening the social distancing of Dong Nai Province.

According to Ms. Nu, it has been difficult for the employees of enterprise to wait, contact and submit the dossiers to get the traffic permits. With the new regulation of removing the traffic permits, the enterprise is so glad to simplify the procedures in the traffic and movement. Currently, most of the company's workers have injected the 1st dose of Covid-19 vaccine, so they will have strictly complied with the regulations on the epidemic prevention and control during the operation.

Closely monitor the commuting of employees.

In order to create favorable conditions for employees working at enterprises in the province in the process of participating in commuting from place of residence to place of work, and at the same time create favorable conditions to support enterprises to gradually restore the economy, from October 7, Dong Nai removed the content of issuing certificates of employees moving daily from the place of residence to the workplace of enterprises in the area.

For the employees, when moving from the places of residences to the workplaces, they must wear the company ID cards. If the employers has equipped with the enterprise's uniform, the employees will be required to wear the uniform to identify when travelling  by the checkpoints.

At the same time, the employees using the smartphones must install the PC-Covid application to use the QR codes and show vaccination history. If the employees do not have a smartphone, they are required to present a certificate of vaccination against Covid-19 epidemic (at least 1st dose for 2-dose vaccines and 14 days after injection) or a certificate of recovery from Covid-19 epidemic under 06 months when required by the authorities.

Mr. Le Van Danh, Deputy Head in charge of the Dong Nai Industrial Zones Authority, said that the province currently has been more than 1,100 enterprises operating in accordance with the "three-on-the-spot" option, "1 route, 2 destinations" or combination of the two options mentioned above. Recently, the unit has issued a document on strengthening the strict control of the employees entering and leaving the Industrial Zones in the new situation according to the content of the Plan No. 11102/KH-UBND of the Provincial People's Committee.

The Dong Nai Industrial Zones Authority has coordinated with the local authorities to guide and inspect the enterprises when exchanging the employees and movements of the employees from their homes to the workplaces in order to ensure the epidemic prevention and control. In order to strictly control the commuting of the employees, the unit has required the companies investing in the Industrial Zones infrastructure to review and set up checkpoints at the connection points of the Industrial Zones roads adjacent to the outside. The employees are absolutely not come in and out of the Industrial Zones on their own. The companies must coordinate with Public Security forces of the Industrial Zones to control the daily movement of workers, and prevent the disease spread.

Regarding this issue, Colonel Tran Tien Dat, Deputy Director of the Provincial Public Security said that the Provincial Public Security has asked the People's Committees of the localities to direct the authorized forces and checkpoints to facilitate the support for the enterprises, employees participating in the commuting from the places of residences to the workplaces conveniently and safely in the epidemic prevention and control. In addition, the security forces have been also arranged to coordinate with the Public Security Stations of the Industrial Zones in order to control the movement routes of the enterprises organizing shuttles to transport the workers, control the commuting of the employees to ensure the epidemic prevention and control in accordance with the directions of the Provincial People's Committee.
