Employees must be tested before returning to their homes

The Department of Health has just sent an urgent document to the Provincial Industrial Zones Authority to guide testing for the employees of the enterprises implementing the "3 things on the spot" option before returning to their localities.

Accordingly, for businesses with positive or suspected cases (positive rapid test for SARS-CoV-2 antigen, waiting for RT-PCR test results): F1 employees must be concentratedly isolated. F2 Employees must be isolated at home according to regulations.  

Other workers, before leaving the enterprise and returning to the resident locality, must be tested by RT-PCR (single sample or pooled sample), with negative test results within 3 days from the time of sample collection until they arrive the locality. After returning to the locality, the employees must continue to self-monitor their health, limit contact with people around, and do not participate in activities that gather in large numbers within 14 days. When there are symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, loss of taste appear, they must immediately report to the health station of the commune, ward or town where they reside for guidance on timely health management. 

For the enterprises with no positive or suspected cases: Before leaving the enterprise, the employees must have a rapid test for SARS-CoV-2 antigen, with negative test results within 3 days from the period of taking samples to the time of returning to the place of residence.

In case of force majeure reasons, after 3 days from the date of sampling, the RT-PCR testing facility has not returned the test results and the enterprise wants to send workers to the locality soon, it must perform a rapid test for SARS-CoV-2 antigen for employees, with negative test results within 3 days from the time of taking samples to the time of returning to the place of residence. The enterprise must notify the list of returning workers to the commune-level People's Committees where the workers live. Commune-level People's Committees are responsible for organizing strict management, monitoring health at home, mastering not to leave the house and fully complying with 5K as regulated until there is negative RT-PCR test results or enough 14 days.
