The ceremony was attended by Nguyen Huu Ngoc, Deputy Chief of the MoCST's Office and Standing Deputy Head of the festival's organizing committee; Nguyen Huu Dat, Head of the MoCST's Representative Office in Ho Chi Minh City; Le Thi Ngoc Loan, Director of the Dong Nai City Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (DoCST); representatives of municipal departments, agencies and local authorities; and 36 outstanding cultural families representing nine Southern provinces and cities.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Nguyen Huu Ngoc, Standing Deputy Head of the festival's Organizing Committee, emphasized that the festival was held as the entire Party, people, and armed forces nationwide were actively implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress and Politburo Resolution No. 80-NQ/TW on the development of Vietnamese culture.
Against this backdrop, building prosperous, progressive, happy, and civilized Vietnamese families while preserving and promoting family values in line with national, cultural, and societal values and standards for Vietnamese people has taken on particular significance.

Ngoc said the festival had been carefully prepared and well organized, with all activities conducted smoothly and effectively. Public communication was carried out proactively and promptly through news media outlets and digital platforms, helping spread the message "Happy Families – Prosperous Nation" while bringing inspiring stories, meaningful images, and the festival's humanistic values to audiences across Southern Vietnam and the country.

At the closing ceremony, the organizing committee presented 40 collective and individual awards to participating families and localities. Dong Thap won the overall first prize, while An Giang province took second place. The two third prizes overall went to Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai City.

The organizing committee also handed over the hosting flag for the second Outstanding Family Festival for Southern provinces and cities, scheduled for 2027, to Vinh Long province.
