University of Dong Nai Receives First Class Labor Medal

The ceremony was attended by Vice Chairperson of the Standing Committee at Dong Nai People’s Council Huynh Thi Nga, Vice Chairperson of Dong Nai People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Tri, and Vice Chairperson of Dong Nai People's Committee Tran Minh Phuc.

Dong Nai University is awarded the first-class labor medal

Formerly, Dong Nai University was Dong Nai College of Education, which was established in 1976. Up to now, it has offered 32 college programs and 9 other university programs.

It is expected that Dong Nai University will offer three new university programs in 2011. Currently, the school has a staff of nearly 300 people and more than 13,000 students.

Dong Nai University receives the certificate of merit from Ministry of Education and Training

Thanks to its 35-year contributions and achievements, Dong Nai University was awarded the State President’s third-class labor medal in 1996 and second-class labor medal in 2001. On this occasion, the school was honored to receive the first-class labor medal.

At the ceremony, Dong Nai University received the certificate of merit from Ministry of Education and Training and Dong Nai People’s Committee awarded certificates of merit to the school’s nine outstanding labor collectives.

In addition, two collectives and ten individuals that have obtained outstanding achievements in the patriotic emulation movement from 2009-2010 academic years were awarded Dong Nai People’s Committee’s certificates of merit.

Addressing the ceremony, Vice Chairperson of Dong Nai People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Tri commended Dong Nai University for the achievements that it has attempted to obtain since its inception.

In the forthcoming time, Dong Nai University leadership will keep preserving the school’s political ideology, and security and order, creating an exciting competition atmosphere to accomplish its tasks, performing administrative reform, completing self-management and self-responsibility structure, expanding training areas, ensuring yearly enrollment and graduation numbers, improving training quality, and gradually building up the brand name of Dong Nai University, hoped Tri.
