“Study and Follow the Ethical Example of President Ho Chi Minh” Enhanced

The meeting heard Deputy Head of Dong Nai Commission for Propaganda and Education Affairs Nguyen Van Long deliver a speech on the fundamental contents in the Politburo’s Directive no. 03-CT/TW and the Standing Committee at Dong Nai Party Committee’s Plan no. 03-KH/TU on the continued promotion of “Study and follow the ethical example of President Ho Chi Minh” campaign.

Accordingly, levels of Party Committees are required to learn the ideology and the ethical example of President Ho Chi Minh; for example, working according to Uncle Ho’s style, following the moral standard according to his ideology and example in a way that is appropriate for each sector, local authority, agency, and units; to identify the sense of responsibility of major leaders, heads of levels of authorities, and Party members; to establish examination and supervision rules applicable to the training of officers and Party members, which Party organs and people are in charge of; to bring “Study and follow the ethical example of President Ho Chi Minh” campaign into Party organs’ activities; to regard studying and following the ethical example of President Ho Chi Minh as criteria to assess and classify Party members and Party organs every year; to continue putting lessons regarding President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology and ethical example on the education program in the province.

To make things go as planned, Dong Nai made a decision about the establishment of the Assistance Division for the Standing Committee at Dong Nai Party Committee. The decision is to continue promoting “Study and Follow the Ethical Example of President Ho Chi Minh” campaign.

The Division is composed of 15 members.

Also, the meeting heard Head of Dong Nai Commission for Propaganda and Education Affairs at Dong Nai Party Committee Huynh Van Toi report on the achievements over the past five years of implementation of propaganda programs and rapporteurs’ activities towards the implementation of the 8th Dong Nai Party Congress’s resolution.

Over the past five years, levels of Party Committees and authorities have paid more and more attention to giving strict directions and providing good conditions for oral propaganda activities and rapporteurs.

Rapporteurs are constantly developing and are being strengthened and the efficiency is being improved. Thus, oral propaganda activities are being strengthened and have taken into shape.

On this occasion, four outstanding collectives and eight individuals were awarded certificates of merit by Dong Nai People’s Committee.

Addressing the meeting, Secretary of Dong Nai Party Committee Tran Dinh Thanh asked levels of Party Committees and of authorities to raise their sense of responsibility, to fully grasp particular contents and targets in the Plan about studying and following the ethical example of President Ho Chi Minh, thereby applying it flexibly and creatively, and effectively in agencies, units, and localities, to continue updating and improving the qualitiy and effectiveness of oral propaganda activities and of the activities of levels of rapporteurs during the implementation of the Secretariat’s Directive no. 17 and the 9th Dong Nai Party Congress’s Resolution.
