Waste treatment capacity of factories is about 12 thousand tons per day

According to the report from the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, in the whole province, there have been 11 projects of waste treatment in operation with a capacity of about 12 thousand tons per day.
Treating the domestic waste at the Quang Trung Waste Treatment Plant (Thong Nhat District)
In which, the domestic waste is more than 3.3 thousand tons per day; the ordinary industrial waste is more than 4.5 thousand tons per day; the hazardous waste is nearly 4.2 thousand tons per day.
Currently, there are 3 projects of waste treatment areas under the implementation of construction investment procedures: the project of the Dong Xanh Company, the project of the Long Thanh Green Environment Company and the project of waste treatment to generate electricity. It is expected that these 3 projects will be completed and put into operation before 2025.
