The application of origin traceability has created good effects, answered customers' questions, and created more confidence for consumers when using the product. To support customers who are not familiar with origin traceability technology, the store always has a customer support staff to check the information on the product when there are questions or requests. Currently, on the bags of Bat Gioi products, there are labels, so customers are assured of the product.

Perfect food management process

As a unit coordinating with Dong Nai to implement the origin traceability project, Mr. Dao Ha Trung, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Association, said that the superiority of origin traceability is being able to control the origin of products from households. Small-scale livestock production, slaughterhouses, traders as well as product distribution systems in the market until the products reach consumers, especially in areas where there are many risks of unsafety food such as collective kitchens, restaurants, etc. Thus, when implementing synchronous cooperation, Dong Nai can control most of the origin of fresh meat.

Evaluating the implementation of green building in the province, Mr. Tran Lam Sinh, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, said that over the past time, the green building project has received the enthusiastic participation of businesses, shops, and kitchens with support from the Departments of Industry, Trade, Health and the High-Tech Association of Ho Chi Minh City. The implementation of origin traceability has created trust for consumers and raised the brand name for Dong Nai agricultural products in the market.

In addition, Mr. Sinh also said that origin traceability has contributed to changing the perception and habits of implementers as well as consumers about the value of the products retrieved. In the coming time, the Department will continue to make efforts to make the origin traceability program highly effective.

Mr. Le Van Loc, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, said that origin traceability is an important task for the agricultural industry, ensuring output for products. Currently, 100% of licensed abattoirs have carried out origin traceability. Mr. Loc hopes that the project will soon solve the problem of ensuring safety for consumers, which is a condition to replicate the model to other animals. “When the agricultural industry develops in a sustainable way, applying high technology towards export, Dong Nai's products can expand to other markets. In 2022, the Department of Industry and Trade will strive for many traditional markets to participate in the origin traceability project with all products, helping people feel somewhat secure when buying food at the markets.
