Tighten the inspection, and handle the violators of 5K principle

Still ignoring the epidemic prevention regulations

After the easing of social distancing, the whole province has implemented Resolution No. 128/NQ-CP on the temporary regulation "Safely adapting, flexibly, effectively controlling the Covid-19 epidemic" since October 11. Production and business activities are gradually reopened, people can travel normally, ensuring the conditions as prescribed. However, as a result of that reality, there have been violations of principle for epidemic prevention and control in the province.

At some places such as coffee shops, dining areas, and business areas in Bien Hoa City, there have been many people who are subjective in complying with the 5K principle for the epidemic prevention. Specificially some service bars have reopened secretly without being permitted that cause the increasing spread of Covid-19 outbreak in the surrounding areas.

For instance, on November 1 at 4p.m., while patrolling in the local area, the police of Tan Phong Ward in Bien Hoa City found out that Thu Hang Karaoke Bar, located on Dong Khoi Street, Quarter 9, Tan Phong Ward welcoming a group of 6 customers. According to the local Public Security agency, this bar disregarded the Provincial People's Committee's directive to cease operations for epidemic prevention. After working, the police force made a file to handle the bar owner for violating epidemic prevention measures.

Previously, at the end of October 2021, the police discovered and fined two bars with people gathering in karaoke bars to sing and consume drugs at Thong Nhat Ward, Bien Hoa City. In addition to dealing with infractions of public order, the authorised forces documented the behaviors of gathering and ignoring the regulations on epidemic prevention and control.

According to local authorities, the entire province has loosened social distancing, numerous activities have resumed, and the majority of individuals have been vaccinated against Covid-19 to provide safe circumstances when going out. As a result, the number of violations has dropped; such violations are mostly gatherings, not keeping distance, or not wearing masks, etc. In recent days, the key mission of the police force is to conduct the propaganda and remind the residents to follow the regulations on epidemic preventions. For cases of serious opposition, handling will be performed according to regulations.

According to Senior Lieutenant-Colonel Le Phuoc Dai, Chief of Long Thanh District Public Security, after entering the "new normal" status, the local people may travel regularly and the number of violations has been decreased. Only those who do not wear masks, gather in large numbers, or oppose the authorized forces will be recorded and handled.

Inspection and sanction will be further performed

Following the direction of the provincial leaders, the Provincial Public Security announced that, in addition to boosting propaganda, local police will enhance inspection and sanction of cases of violating the Covid-19 pandemic prevention regulations, including violations of 5K requirements. In addition, the police force will also deploy mobile inspection teams to promptly detect and handle violations in epidemic prevention and control.

Senior Lieutenant-Colonel Le Phuoc Dai added that the Public Security of Long Thanh District deployed the plan of patrolling and controlling after 11pm to ensure security and order in the area. In addition, local police have deployed closed patrols in the area for reviewing, handling cases of the 5K message (Masks, Disinfection, Distance, No gathering, Health declaration) violations, and maintaining security and order.

Similarly, in Bien Hoa City, the police force has closely followed the direction of the local Steering Committee for Covid-19 prevention and control to implement measures to prevent, control, and against the outbreak of the disease. In "hot spot" areas, where there have been many cases of safety violations, the police force will focus on checking, handling more strictly; for the areas in the "green zone", the authorized forces are primarily give advice and remind the people for the disease prevention measures.

Especially, in the following days, with the approval of leaders at all levels, the Public Security of Bien Hoa City will organize an inspection and handle violations in all field of crime and epidemic prevention.

In the area of Nhon Trach District, according to Senior Lieutenant Colonel Trinh Anh Dung, the Deputy Chief in charge of Nhon Trach District Public Security, under the situations that the number of F0 cases in the community is still increasing, following the direction of the local Steering Committee for Covid-19 prevention and control, in the coming time, the Public Security force in the district will continue to implement measures to tighten inspection and handle cases of violations of the 5K principle. However, according to Senior Lieutenant Colonel Trinh Anh Dung, now that the social distance has been eased, people have traveled a lot, so the police force cannot control all cases on the street, they give the propaganda on the disease to the local people instead.
