Information from the Department of Industry and Trade, in February 2023, the total retail of goods and services revenue in the province was estimated at 21 trillion VND, down 9.8% compared to January 2023.

The reason retail and service revenue decreased compared to January was because January coincided with the Lunar New Year, so the purchasing power and consumer demands of the people increased dramatically while purchasing power gradually returned to normal level in February. In addition, the price of many consumer goods increased, especially gas and gasoline prices increased highly in February, causing many consumers to tighten their spending.
Generally, in the first two months of 2023, the province's total retail of goods and services revenue was estimated at nearly VND 44.4 trillion, increased 19.8% compared to the same period last year.
