The FDI enterprises have invested in the province more than US$32.4 billion

   Many FDI enterprises have invested in the Nhon Trach II Industrial Zone

Currently, the FDI enterprises have invested in the province with 1,559 projects and a total registered capital of about US$32.45 billion. In which, leading in terms of number of projects and total investment capital are Republic of Korea, Taiwan and Japan. The FDI capital invested in Dong Nai Province has been disbursed more than 80% of the total registered capital.        

According to the Director of the Department of Planning and Investment Ho Van Ha, in spite of the Covid-19 epidemic, which greatly affected the production and business of the enterprises with foreign direct investment (FDI enterprises), from the beginning of the year to September 15, 2021, the FDI enterprises in the province have still contributed nearly VND10.7 trillion to the State budget, increased by 31% over the same period in 2020 and achieved 99% of the annual plan. However, the contribution of the FDI enterprises has mainly focused on the first 6 months of 2021, from July 2021 up to now, the production and export of many enterprises have been sharply reduced due to the fast-spreading epidemic and many provinces and cities in the South of Vietnam implementing the social distancing.
