The enterprises feel more confident when their workers are vaccinated

​Vaccinating for workers at the Fujitsu Computer Products of Vietnam, Inc. in Bien Hoa II Industrial Zone

The Provincial People's Committee is continuing to prioritize the Covid-19 vaccine to inject for the employees working in the companies that are deploying "3 things on the spot", "1 route, 2 stops" inside and outside the industrial zones. Some enterprises with a large number of employees from 500 or more people will be injected with nearly 100% by the end of August 2021.

Priority will be given to the enterprises of manufacturing

Up to now, in the province, there are nearly 670 enterprises in the Industrial Zones and Industrial Clusters that have been allocated the vaccines to inject employees working in the factories. In the Industrial Zones, there are 662 per 1,628 enterprises on the list of vaccination and the number of employees vaccinated is more than 160,000 people, accounting for nearly 33.5% (expected data after completing the 5^th phase of vaccination) and  in which, 06 enterprises with more than 1,000 employees are vaccinated 100%. Outside the Industrial Zones, there are more than 100 businesses allocated nearly 15.3 thousand doses of Covid-19 vaccine to inject the employees. Currently, the province is implementing the 6^th phase of vaccination for the enterprises.

Among the industrial clusters, there are 18 per 127 enterprises in 07 high-risk areas, namely Bien Hoa City, Long Khanh City, Long Thanh District, Nhon Trach District, Trang Bom District, Thong Nhat District and Vinh Cuu District also allocated with nearly 1.6 thousand doses of vaccines to inject the employees, reaching a rate of nearly 28%. 

Vaccines are currently considered the most effective solution in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic and to maintain production and business. Therefore, the province implemented vaccination for the employees working in the factories in order to help businesses reduce anxiety.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu, Production Manager of the Binh Tien Bien Hoa Company Limited in the Amata Industrial Zone shared: “The company has nearly 3.6 thousand employees working in the factories. To maintain production from July 2021 up to now, the company arranged for more than 1.1 thousand employees staying at the factory. Recently, the company has been allocated the vaccines to inject the employees, although it has not met the actual needs, from business owners to employees being vaccinated is also more secure. According to Mrs. Thu, the company hopes the Government and the province will soon buy enough vaccine sources to inject the employees working in the factories in order to restore production.

Vaccination is required for all the employees

According to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Cao Tien Dung, in the province's Industrial Zones alone, more than 1.2 million vaccines are needed to inject to employees working in the factories. From the beginning of the year until now, the province has arranged 06 phase of vaccines, but the 4^th phase has begun to widely vaccinate the employee, while the 5^th and 6^th phases give priority to the enterprises that are implementing the "3 things on the spot" and "1 route, 2 stops" options to maintain production. Up to now, the enterprises in the province have only been allocated about 210,000 doses of vaccines. The province has proposed that the Government will give priority to early sources of vaccines for the enterprises to quickly inject them for employees at the companies inside and outside the industrial zones.

The enterprises in the province hope that in September and October, 2021, Dong Nai Province will be fully allocated an amount of Covid-19 vaccine. At the same time, the province will give priority to the enterprises carrying out production so that they can increase the number of employees and capacity to promptly complete the orders of foreign partners. In late September, many companies start the season at the peak of year-end production. This is also the period having many large orders from the foreign customers, if the enterprises do not promptly restore production, they will lose the opportunity to increase the revenue and income for the employees. 

Deputy Chairman of the Government Office Nguyen Cao Luc said that Dong Nai Province currently has nearly 44,000 enterprises in all fields and employs about 1.2 million employees. The above labor force contributes greatly to the economic development of the province, region and the whole country. Therefore, the priority of vaccines against the Covid-19 for them is to prevent the epidemic spreading into the enterprises. Production is restored, the employees with stable incomes will ensure security and order, so the state will reduce anxiety in social security.
