According to the Deputy Director of the Dong Nai General Hospital Dang Ha Huu Phuoc, in the context of the current complicated development of the Covid-19 epidemic, in addition to the epidemic prevention and control, support and emergency treatment for Covid-19 patients, the medical team, doctors in the province still have to continue the task of treating and giving emergency care to patients with other serious diseases. In order to timely provide emergency and treatment for patients far from the center, the Dong Nai General Hospital has built a Telehealth room in order to help create a quick and convenient connection channel with upper and lower-level hospitals.

Thereby, helping the doctors of hospitals are able to share their knowledge and experience; At the same time, they agreed on the treatment views, guided the lower-level doctors to implement the treatment techniques and methods, limited the transfer of patients to the upper levels and reduced the load for the upper-level hospitals but still ensuring the quality in treatment at the lower level.

In the past time, the Dong Nai General Hospital has used the Telehealth system with upper-level hospitals many times in order to serve the medical examination and treatment, especially the severe cases. However, it is an asynchronous assembly of equipment, with some defects in the process of exchange and treatment. Therefore, the hospital decided to invest in a complete Telehealth system in order to make the provision of information and consultations between the upper and lower-level hospitals more conveniently and clearly. The images provided are also fuller and more intuitive. In the coming time, the hospital will put into use equipments to be able to perform online surgery so that when surgeons are performing surgery at the lower-level hospitals, the upper-level doctors can comment, adjust and guide the surgical techniques appropriately and effectively
