Supporting enterprises to apply technology machinery

Rural industrial establishments need financial support to apply machines to production.

Over the years, Dong Nai has spent tens of billions dong to support enterprises for industrial promotion activities to promote enterprises to boldly innovate production technology, improve product quality.

Dozens of businesses were supported

The outstanding effect of the Industrial Promotion Program in Dong Nai province in the period 2016 -2020 is supporting the application of advanced machinery and equipment to industrial and handicraft production. This is one of the main contents of industrial promotion activities and suitable to the needs of localities and businesses. The support of advanced machinery and equipment in industrial and handicraft production aims to automate production to replace manual labor, reduce toxicity to workers, increase productivity and product quality. With the total funding for industrial promotion activities in Dong Nai province is 54.7 billion VND, in the past 5 years, 36 industrial establishments have benefited from this funding source.

Lien Khanh One Member Limited Company is located in Long Khanh city. At the beginning of operation, the company mainly bought wood materials for sawing and getting blanks. Initially, there were only 2 sawing machines, and the company's wood billets had to be dried and processed outside to be passive the progress and quantity of products. Now the company has up to 12 sawing machines and invested in a wood billet drying system with advanced technology and large capacity, help the company to control the quality and meet the quantity required by customers.

According to Mr Nguyen Cong Thuy, Director of the company, in the process of production and business activities, received the companionship of the local industrial promotion, created motivation to increase production capacity. In 2020, the Center for Industry Promotion and Industry Development Consulting (Department of Industry and Trade) in collaboration with the Economic Department of Long Khanh guided the company to complete the dossier and set up a local industrial promotion project on supporting the application of machinery and advanced equipment in wood processing production, with a total support of VND 450 million for local industrial promotion.

Similarly, from the efforts of enterprises and part of the contribution of industrial promotion capital to promote machinery innovation, some brands of Dong Nai enterprises such as Nam Long rubber gloves, An Phu Thinh labor protection, etc. … has gradually stepped up to the ranks of medium enterprises with annual revenue of hundreds of billions of dong.

Promotion period 2021-2025

According to data from the Provincial Statistics Department, by the end of 2020, Dong Nai had more than 9.8 thousand enterprises, industrial establishments in rural areas. In which, most of them were still in the family production scale, small production facilities, the observance of regulations on business investment is still limited, lead to difficulty to enjoy the support policies of the state.

From the above facts, in order to continue to effectively carry out industrial promotion activities in the coming time, with the role of a specialized agency to help the Provincial People's Committee to perform the state management of industrial promotion, the Department of Industry and Trade has decided to advise the Provincial People's Committee to approve the Industrial Promotion Program in Dong Nai province for the period of 2021-2025. Accordingly, over 70 billion VND will be mobilized to implement the industrial promotion program, focusing on supporting and promoting small and medium enterprises to innovate production technology. It is expected that the industrial promotion funding will support 47 enterprises and production facilities to apply advanced machinery and equipment.

According to the Center for Industrial Promotion and Industry Development Consulting, in order to effectively implement this support capital, the unit will organize a survey on the technological capacity of enterprises, establishments in the priority industry group, and provide consultancy on applications of using advanced machinery and equipment before building projects at each enterprise. This is to encourage investment in modern machinery and equipment, advanced technology, increase the rate of products of deep processing, create high added value for export and domestic consumption.
