Support Vinh Cuu to exploit the strengths of forests and lakes for sustainable development

Implementing the Resolution of the Party Congress of the province and district for the Term 2020-2025, in the past 2 years, the Vinh Cuu District Party Committee has focused on leading and directing the Party committees, authorities and people at all levels to implement the basic objectives and tasks according to the annual resolution. The socio-economic situation develops, security and order are maintained, the people's material and spiritual life is improved, the average income will reach VND162 million per person by 2021; the average economic growth rate in the period 2015-2020 was estimated at over 8%; economic structure has shifted in the right direction (industry accounted for 75%, service accounted for 17%, agriculture - forestry accounted for 8%). In 2021, Vinh Cuu District is a locality heavily affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. In order to gradually stabilize and develop the economy, culture and society in the area, the District Party Committee has focused on leadership, promptly direct and direct the prevention, control and reduction of the number of infections in the locality.

Vinh Cuu District is characterized by a locality with ¾ of the lake and forest area; has great potential for tourism development. Currently, there have been a number of local investors proposing to implement a number of tourism projects, notably the Safari semi-wild animal park project. In addition, the conservation area has about 400 hectares of lakes in the middle of the forest, which also attracts many investors. The locality recommends provincial leaders to remove obstacles and difficulties in legal procedures in exploiting and developing tourism on forests and lake beds; Support investment in infrastructure.

Through the meeting, the locality revealed many problems that the province is responsible for solving; Each department and branch must see its responsibility to remove it, thereby supporting the locality to exploit the advantages that other localities do not have, such as forests, lakes and rivers, etc.

Economically, the district has a high proportion of industry, but mainly processing, assembling and manual labor; The average income of working families and unskilled workers is still low. Localities need to focus on selecting and controlling industrial investment, promoting service development, agriculture and tourism to improve people's living standards. The locality also needs to pay attention to planning to restructure the entire river route, lake bed area, etc. With the aim of promoting local advantages in particular, maximize the value of forests with the goal of protecting forests and enriching forests in association with economic development and people's lives, the district needs tourism planning associated with infrastructure investment in traffic, electricity, clean water, etc. to attract investors. The new countryside is a rural area that must prosper with the ultimate aim of improving people's living standards and living quality, which is reflected in investments in road infrastructure, electricity, education, health care, and cultural life. In the new period, towards building smart new rural communes, it must be associated with digital transformation and application of information technology and must supplement and increase resources for communes; mobilize sources of socialization for investment in rural areas.
