The Provincial People's Committee has just issued a
Decision on approving the policy in the proposal to develop a Resolution
regulating the level of support for paying health insurance premiums for some
disadvantaged people in Dong Nai Province in the period 2022-2025.
Buying health
insurance helps people reduce a lot of costs if they are unfortunately
sick or hospitalized
Accordingly,
the beneficiaries include: Ethnic minorities with permanent/temporary residence
in communes Area I, Dong Nai Province according to regulations of the Prime
Minister; people suffering from serious diseases as prescribed by the
Government; elderly people from 70-79 years old with permanent/temporary
residence in communes Area I of Dong Nai Province according to regulations of
the Prime Minister; the employees who have expired his/her unemployment benefit
period for more than 3 months has not yet re-entered health insurance until the
employee finds a new job and participates in compulsory social insurance; people
of household escaping from poverty within 2 years from the date of issuance of
the Decision on recognition of poverty ended; students with disabilities and
students at the Center for Children with Disabilities. In addition, there are
also the following subjects: People of poor households and people of
multidimensionally poor households that do not fall into the cases specified at
Point a, Clause 9, Article 3 of Decree No. 146/2018/ND-CP dated October 17, 2018
of the Government; students who are studying at educational institutions at all
levels with headquarters in Area I communes, Dong Nai Province; people from
agricultural, forestry and fishery households have an average standard of
living as prescribed by the Government.
The
subjects are supported from 20-100% of the health insurance premium. In case a
person belongs to many subjects who are supported with the health insurance
premium rate, they will be entitled to the health insurance premium payment
rate according to the subject with the highest support level.
The
support implementation period is within 3 years, starting from August 1, 2022
to July 31, 2025.
The
support for the above-mentioned subjects contributes to increasing the health
insurance coverage rate in the locality. At the same time, it contributes to
ensuring local social security, helping people have the opportunity to access
better health services, reducing costs and burdens for themselves, their
families and society.
