Success in Mobilizing people to implement Key Works & Projects in Dong Nai

​Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee Quan Minh Cuong commends collectives for their achievements in 2020 mobilization work.

According to leader of Provincial People's Committee, most of the advocacy tasks of 2020 have been implemented with high results. In particular, the committees at all levels have promptly directed implementation of measures to prevent, combat and mobilize and support those facing difficulties due to COVID-19; successfully organized Party Congress at all levels; organizing patriotic emulation movements, and exciting and practical People's Day activities on October 15, mobilizing a large number of people to participate, thereby creating a clear change in raising awareness and responsibility of Party organizations, authorities, the Fatherland Front and unions, cadres, and party members, and all classes of people towards Party's mobilization work in the new era.

For all levels of government, there has been interest in leading and directing the implementation of support to people and businesses affected by COVID-19 under Government's Resolution 42/NQ-CP; implementing the democratic regulations at the grassroots level; strengthening dialogue with people; reforming administrative procedures, well implementing public service ethics for local people. Policies on ethnic and religious affairs are fully implemented, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of the people; Mobilizing people to actively participate in maintaining political security, social order and safety; implementing new and advanced rural model.

Comrade Nguyen Hong Linh highly appreciated Dong Nai's mobilization results in the past years, especially in 2020. Dong Nai's advocacy task has mobilized the political system, armed forces, each party member, civil servant, public employee, union member, member and the entire people, to participate in the implementation of the goals, common tasks of the whole province. Notably, Dong Nai is very successful in mobilizing people to implement key works and projects to promote socio-economic development for Dong Nai and the country; a typical example is the mobilization of people to implement Long Thanh International Airport project; mobilize people from religions and ethnic groups to participate in patriotic emulation movements, etc.

This comrade also said that the Central Commission for Mass Mobilization has deployed the civil advocacy task in 2021, noting that this year, there was a strong focus on implementing the grassroots democracy regulation. Therefore, the political system of the province and the Provincial Party Committee's Civil Affairs Committee advise the Party Committee to drastically and effectively direct the implementation of the democracy regulation in communes, wards and towns; agencies, units and businesses. Speaking at the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Quan Minh Cuong stated that, in addition to the outstanding results of the province's advocacy work in the past year, there are still many concerns, thoughts and things to be done and there are solutions to overcome shortcomings and limitations. He emphasized that the mobilization work is to bring the undertakings, lines, policies and laws of the Party and Government to the people. He noted that, when performing the mobilization work, it must be essential and ‘go into the hearts’ of the people. The role of the people in supervision of the entire activities of the Party, the government, agencies, units and localities must be promoted. He also raised the issue, that recently in Dong Nai, there have happened a number of illegal construction cases, land violations, so where is the role of the mobilization? Dong Nai is a religiously specific province with a large number of workers, attracting strong investments, etc. Therefore, officials working in the civil engineering work need to firmly grasp the regulations, policies and laws of the Party and the State in order to mobilize the people. It is necessary to arrange a contingent of officials to do the mass mobilization reasonably and effectively.
