According to the Vietnam Directory for Roads (under the Ministry of Transportation), the large quantity of technology vehicles has increased rapidly in recent years, proving that the market demand for this vehicle is huge. This type of transportation applying information technology will still develop and dominate in the future. Especially when the country is entering the period of Industrial Revolution 4.0 and the number of smartphone users is increasing.
Many people said that the business participation in the "race" of ride-hailing applications created a vibrant and transparent market. However, the current development makes it difficult for state management agencies. Therefore, appropriate development policies are needed.
From April 1st, the technology vehicle is officially recognized and operates under the new standard specified in the Government's Decree No. 10/2020 / ND-CP (Decree No. 10) of January 17th, 2020 in business regulations and conditions for transport business by auto (replacing the previous Decree 86/2014).
During the past time, the technology car service has helped road users to have more choices and bring more benefits to the people. Many argue that the effective Decree No. 10 will regulate specifically to identify the type of technology vehicle that is necessary and inevitable according to the trend of society, creating a healthy competition among transport types. Thereby, it will contribute to the development of technology vehicles, create more income sources, bring more utilities to people.
