Strictly handling of Violence against Children

​The plan sets the goal of which communication and education campaigns will be carried out to improve the awareness, knowledge and skills of authorities at all levels and all organizations, families, schools and communities to protect children and prevent violence and abuse against children; Timely prevent, intervene, prevent acts of child abuse, support children to integrate into the community; strictly deal with objects of violence and sexual abuse in children.

The plan also outlines specific objectives and activities to raise awareness, responsibility and skills on child protection and prevention of violence and abuse of children for departments, sectors, social organizations, in educational institutions, learners, parents and children; support and intervention for children who suffer from violence or sexual abuse. To improve service quality, improve the capacity of child protection service providers, and support and intervene in the health sector for children who experience violence or sexual abuse. To strictly handle child violence and abuse cases. To improve living environment, provide more cultural and sports institutions for children, etc.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requires its departments, branches and localities shoud base on their functions and tasks to develop plans and programs to effectively implement activities to prevent violence and abuse of children, contribute positively in mobilizing the whole society to pay attention to the protection, care and education of children, especially in the prevention of child abuse. To effectively implement policies and programs from the state budget and mobilize the society to ensure the full realization of children's rights according to the Law on Children.
