Strict handling of 5K principle violations in the covid-19 epidemic prevention

Reporting at the meeting, Director of the Department of Health Phan Huy Anh Vu said: Up to now, the rate of vaccination with the second dose in the whole province has reached 83.9%. In the past 3 days, the whole province recorded 10 deaths from Covid-19, including 1 case of 50 years old who received 2 doses of vaccine against the disease. Epidemic assessment results after one week, Dong Nai Province is still ranked at an average level (yellow), only Vĩnh Cửu District is rated at the high risk. Although the province has implemented documents on isolating F0 at home, until now many localities have not yet been deployed.

Deputy Director of Provincial Public Security Tran Tien Dat said: the situation of people being negligent, subjectively, and do not strictly comply with epidemic prevention regulations, secretly selling alcohol and beer, operating at more than 50% of their capacity are the key reasons in the number of COVID-19 cases increasing. From today, the Provincial Public Security will direct the local Public Security units to strengthen inspection and strictly punish the 5K violators.

Regarding social security work, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Son Hung stated that the whole province has financially supported more than 1 million workers with an amount of more than VND1.7 trillion, reaching 95.2%. The Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs rated Dong Nai as one of the localities with a high rate of financial support. Only Tan Phu District has reached 75% of the payment, it is necessary to step up spending to support the affected people.

In addition, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that the Department of Health should pay special attention to coordinating to assist in handling people's vaccination-related questions; review the results of vaccination for children on the system, ensuring publicity, transparency, and accuracy; and provide data to the Department of Information and Communications to update monitoring and management information for F0 and F1.

Regarding human resources in the health sector, provincial leaders suggested that leaders of the Department of Health consider and propose policies to support medical workers and mobilize private healthcare. Any locations lack of human resources must plan to mobilize human resources to assure epidemic prevention and control.

At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Hong Linh, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee concluded that departments, branches, and localities should continuously increase their efforts in epidemic prevention and control so that the number of new infected cases does not exceed 1,000 per day. In the treatment of F0 in the community, key units must collaborate closely to conduct synchronous and consistent actions to avoid misunderstanding, reduce community transmission, and maintain the patient's well-being. Local governments should make assistance phone numbers available to each home so that individuals may call them as soon as they need. To promote the function of fast response teams and mobile medical stations even further, as well as to find innovative ways to mobilize vehicles and equipment for mobile medical stations.

For F0 who are workers, localities need to urgently issue certifications to workers so that workers can report to enterprises, avoiding affecting their jobs. The Provincial People's Committee needs to improve the coordination of information connection and handling of F0 in the community between clinics, localities, and businesses. Currently, the province has implemented isolation of F0 at home. Therefore, when localities have proposed to establish a field hospital, it is necessary to study to arrange resources, not to lack but also not to waste.

The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee suggested that people should raise their sense of self-discipline, strictly observe the 5K, travel only when absolutely necessary, and not be negligent and subjective. The province will use strong measures to sanction administrative violations so that people can strictly comply with regulations related to epidemic prevention and control.
