According to leaders of Dong Nai Rubber Corporation, the main business of the Corporation is planting, exploiting latex and rubber wood; processing and trading in preliminarily processed natural rubber latex; production and trading of products from raw materials originating from planted forests; Investment and business in infrastructure of Industrial Zones, etc. While having production and business activities in the country, the Corporation currently has 2 units operating in foreign countries (Kingdom of Cambodia, and Lao People's Democratic Republic)

The Party Committee of the Corporation currently has 21 Party establishments with more than 1,000 Party members. At each congress of the Corporation's Party Committee, the Party Committee sets different tasks to suit each stage of development.

In which, for the 2015-2020 term, the Party Committee of the Corporation has focused on leading the organizational arrangement, reducing the number of affiliated focal points, reducing the ratio of indirect labor, thereby creating several opportunities for employees. The goal is to attract young cadres with political courage and high professional capacity. As a result, in this term, the corporation's revenue reached 110% of the plan; more than VND1,217 billion remitted to the State budget (reaching 101% of the plan; remitted more than VND2,479 billion to Vietnam Rubber Group (reaching 101% of the plan). State capital development is 1.7 times higher than the total charter capital assigned to the corporation. The average income per capita in 2020 is nearly VND10 million per month.

However, because the trend of urbanization and industrialization is taking place rapidly in the province, the area of ​​rubber farming land is gradually shrinking to make way for Industrial Zones, residential areas, and commercial centers, and national key services and projects have been deployed in the province, so a part of the Corporation's employees have lost their jobs, creating great pressure for the Corporation in solving the social welfares and arranging the new jobs for the employees.

In addition, the skyrocketing prices of gasoline, oil and fertilizers have pulled up investment costs. Faced with the current difficulties, the Corporation's Party Committee has set an orientation for the 2020-2025 term and a vision to 2030, which is to drastically shift the revenue structure that mainly depends on agriculture to promote its role for the development of industry and services, such as the production of rubber products, refined wood for export, investment in hi-tech agriculture, the supply of agricultural services in the direction of applying mechanization and automation to agricultural production and resort tourism.​

In order to achieve the set goals, the Standing Board of the Party Committee of the Corporation proposed to the province many issues on Party building, mechanisms and policies.

Concluding at the meeting, Secretary Nguyen Hong Linh of the Provincial Party Committee recognized the positive results in the implementation of political tasks of the Party Committee of Dong Nai Rubber Corporation over the past time.

According to the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, the Party Committee of Dong Nai Rubber Corporation has a long history in the development of Vietnam's rubber industry. Dong Nai Rubber has had a remarkable development in terms of area, investment capital and Party organization. Besides, the activities of trade unions, youth unions, and red cross associations, etc. have developed steadily, creating a foundation for the strong development of the Corporation in particular and Dong Nai Province in general.

The Party Committee of the Corporation has identified opportunities and challenges in the coming time. The area of ​​rubber trees is gradually shrinking, the labor force is decreasing, in that context, it is necessary to research to restructure the operating model and make breakthroughs to rise up. Small land area, fewer people but still high production and business efficiency, that is success.

In the production and business development strategy in the coming time, the Corporation must focus on deeply processed products; it is possible to form a center for industrial plant varieties in the corporation to meet the development needs of the corporation, it is necessary to build a high-quality human resource team; ensure the inheritance. Actively propagate and educate employees to well observe the guidelines, policies and laws of the Party and State; especially Law on Land.

At the same time, coordinate with localities to determine a stable development space for the Corporation. Promote technology application in development; Environmental friendliness. Taking care of employees' lives so that they stay and keep working for the development of the Corporation.
