Project to develop key crops in districts for 2008-2010 period

Accordingly, Tan Phu District has 4 key crops assisted for development by the project from 2008 and 1010 including: pepper, coffee, pomelo and durian. The total investment capital to carry out the project is over VND14.3 billion, of which VND3.1 billion are financed by the province.

Concerning Xuan Loc, in addition to pepper, coffee, and durian, another key crop is Mango. The total investment capital is over and above VND13.8 billion, of which VND3.2 billion is directly supported to farmers by the province.

Cam My District chooses pepper, coffee and durian as its key crops. The total investment capital is more than VND17.6 billion

In this year, these districts will firstly focus on intensive farming based on the area available and other satisfying requirements like capital and labour resources. Crops will not be newly planted in a certain area until there are enough good seeds for that area. Besides, they will draw up solutions for capital sources, especially those from the residents who take part in the project.
