Priority investment to 10 major transport projects

* Resolving traffic jams

 List of the projects that the Department of Transport launched to strive to implement this year, including road 769, phase 3 inter-district road Vinh Cuu – Trang Bom, road 765 (Xuan Loc district), renovated road No. 10 existence, construction of bridges Dak Lua (Tan Phu District), BOT road 768 (Vinh Cuu District), road 319 connecting with HCMC - Long Thanh - Dau Giay highway (Nhon Trach district), exclusive roads transport moving construction materials Phuoc Tan (Bien Hoa City), An Hao bridge (Bien Hoa City), road 25B (Nhon Trach district).​

In these projects, there are three projects are considered "hot" now and are of public concern is An Hao bridge crossing Cai river, road 25B expansion projects and road 319 extension project. An Hao Bridge the project is expected to reduce more pressure traffic jams for the inner ward, Bien Hoa city. Next is the second project to expand the road 25B and 319 extension lines in Nhon Trach district. Two projects have been people of Nhon Trach well as businesses in industrial parks (IPs) here waiting for years. Mr. Vo Tan Duc, Vice Chairman of Nhon Trach district, said the district has nearly 10 IPs but the problem goes back almost depends entirely on the road 25B, while the roads were too small, only 11 meters up the road surface so it make the transportation difficulties.

"Investing in transportation is very expensive, every project from several hundred to over a thousand billion VND. So while allocating capital to projects is not easy, but these projects are almost the main gateway, needed investments should be prioritized before "- Mr. Binh said.

* Promoting economic development

Only three major projects: An Hao bridge, road 319 and road 25B, the total investment amounted to over 2.700 billion VND, of which An Hao bridge projects accounted for more than half the 1,500 billion. The project is invested in the form of BT (building - transfer). PPC is currently reviewing the land for auction to allocate funds for this project.

By design, the An Hao bridge is more than 490m in length, 30m in width over which vehicle parts are 24m, 35m altitude navigable. The bridge is built with reinforced concrete and prestressed concrete with a lifespan of 100 years. To reduce pressure on capital investment budget, road 319 extension is calling for investment in BOT. With road projects 25B, if under the plan extended 5km from the intersection of Highway 51 to Hiep Phuoc with existing road also takes about 460 billion, also would not have the disposition of capital.

Vice Chairman Tran Van Vinh said that the investment in key projects are not merely solve traffic congestion but also to consider the effectiveness of economic development - social. "When the traffic is convenient, attracting investment in industrial zones is also easier, create favorable conditions for businesses to grow.
