More than 96% of workers return to work after the 2021 Lunar New Year

On the morning of February 18 (7th lunar month), many businesses in the province opened their business and production activities again after a long Tet holiday. According to business owners, by this morning (after a more than 7-day Tet holiday), 96% of workers have returned to work and quickly catch up with work on manufacturing companies. This number shows that everything back to usual as well as every year. Some enterprises have a large number of employees such as: Changshin Vietnam Company Limited, Pousung Vietnam Company Limited and TaeKwang Vina JSC ..., have high rate of workers return to work, from 96% to 98%. The number of pregnant women who have been delayed or applying for leave until 11am.

beginning of the year to workers
Mr. Dinh Sy Phuc, Chairman of the Trade Union at TaeKwang Vina Joint Stock Company, said that on the morning of the 7th day of the new year, the workers of the company started to return to work after 8 days of Tet holiday. A good sign is that the employees have returned to work fully, reaching the rate of 98%, the working atmosphere is cheerful and excited right from the first day of the new year. In particular, this year responded to the call from the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Confederation of Labor, so employees did not return to their hometown but stayed to celebrate Tet in Dong Nai so everyone was looking forward to returning to work. Accordingly, the Trade Union and the Board of Directors of the company met and asked the employees at the working line and the lucky money for each employee was 200.000VND/person at the beginning of the year. The total amount of lucky money at the beginning of the year was over 7 billion VND. With the visit from the Trade Union, the employees were all excited to emulate production and actively prevent the Covid19 epidemic. Currently the company is planning to expand production and needs to recruit 3 thousand workers during this time.
Along with the competitive spirit of production workers, the prevention of Covid-19 epidemics in enterprises is strictly implemented. According to enterprises, this is an important task in order to prevent epidemics from spreading in businesses and communities, while ensuring working health for employees. In addition, the Provincial Confederation of Labor has directed Trade Union at all levels to firmly grasp the situation of returning to work, to keep stable labor relations and employment of employees.
