of compliance with company rules and regulations as well as labor laws,
especially labor safety regulations, is one of the causes directly affecting
their health and life. According to the statistics of the Department of Labor -
Invalids and Social Affairs, in 2019 the whole province had nearly 700
occupational accidents, in which the number of causes due to lack of awareness
accounted for 21%.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom&#58;0.0001pt;text-align&#58;justify;line-height&#58;normal;"><span style="font-size&#58;8pt;">Construction activities and production of
construction materials are considered as potential areas with high risks of
unsafety and hygiene, causing higher damage to people than other industries.
According to Mr. Dang Thanh Nam, Deputy Head of the Quality Control Department
of Construction Department, in recent time, besides some construction
contractors who have not really paid attention to labor safety, the fact that
the majority of employees in the industry is seasonal employees with very few
vocational training, so their awareness of compliance with regulations on labor
safety and hygiene is not high, etc. Chairwoman of the grassroots trade union
of Johnson Wood Joint Stock Company (Tam Phuoc Industrial Park, Bien Hoa City)
Nguyen Thi Thanh Xuan said that every exported shipment is strictly inspected
by our partners, just small faults or any labor violations will result in goods
return by the partners. Therefore, in order to ensure the work quality of to
meet requirements, before admitted for official employment, employees must
undergo training in rules, regulations, company policies, and basic training
and guidance, etc. to improve their qualifications and sense of discipline in the
production process.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom&#58;0.0001pt;text-align&#58;justify;line-height&#58;normal;"><span style="font-size&#58;8pt;">Encouraging and rewarding employees promptly</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom&#58;0.0001pt;text-align&#58;justify;line-height&#58;normal;"><span style="font-size&#58;8pt;">According to the Vice Chairman of the Provincial
Confederation of Labour Tang Quoc Lap, the industrial revolution 4.0 is taking
place, bringing many new job opportunities for employees, but also requires the
quality of labor needs to be raised. In particular, the sense of
professionalism in labor, along with the higher requirements for skills and
expertise, are indispensable requirements. Emplyees can be definitely
eliminated from their jobs if they do not meet the requirements. Therefore,
employees need to voluntarily improve their awareness, responsibility, and
professionalism at work; and actively learn to improve qualifications and
skills to meet requirements in the current development trend.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom&#58;0.0001pt;text-align&#58;justify;line-height&#58;normal;"><span style="font-size&#58;8pt;">CEO of Chien Vietnam Furniture Mfg. Co., Ltd (Tam
Phuoc Industrial Park, Bien Hoa City) Nguyen Thi Thanh Tin said that before
requiring employees to work responsibly and closely, businesses have to
regularly improve welfares and care for their employees&#039; wishes. Employment is
always associated with fair rules of bonus and punishment. In doing so,
employees will always be highly aware and responsible for their work.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom&#58;0.0001pt;text-align&#58;justify;line-height&#58;normal;"><span style="font-size&#58;8pt;">Ms. Tran Kim Lien, Chairwoman of the grassroots
trade union of Binh Tien Dong Nai Co., Ltd. (Bien Hoa City) shared that in
addition to implementing regimes, policies and concerns to improve the lives of
employees, the company also set out specific regulations on rules, and regular
and timely reward policies. Therefore, each employee is always well managed
from working hours to labor productivity and creativity in labor. This is the
basis for evaluation, and monthly, quarterly and yearly reward. As benefits are
always associated with responsibility, so employees&#039; sense of discipline is
very high.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom&#58;0.0001pt;text-align&#58;justify;line-height&#58;normal;"><span style="font-size&#58;8pt;">Mr. Phan Toi Tho Hiep, Head of the Safety
Department, Tokin Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Long Binh Industrial Park,
Bien Hoa City) said that in order to contribute to raising the awareness and
behavior of employees, one of our measures is focusing on improving the
operational efficiency of the safety and hygiene crew.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom&#58;0.0001pt;text-align&#58;justify;line-height&#58;normal;"><span style="font-size&#58;8pt;">Accordingly, every day, members of the crew urge,
remind and guide employees in their teams and workshops to strictly abide by
the regulations on labor in production and maintenance of machinery and
equipment; and regularly propagandize and guide employees to improve their
understanding of labor protection and to abide by the company&#039;s regulations.
Every month, the company organizes training courses on occupational safety and
health as well as labor regulations for the safety crew and employees. Once a
quarter, the company rewards the safety and hygiene crew and employees with
good achievements in their work. Since then, it has not only contributed to
raising the awareness of compliance with labor regulations and labor
discipline, but also motivated employees to compete themselves enthusiastically
in production.</span></p>
