According to the Bureau of Statistics of Dong Nai Province, by the end of August 2021, there are 5 export items in the province that have exceeded the threshold of US$1 billion, which are footwear, wood products, textiles, machinery - equipment and spare parts, textile fibers of all kinds. In which, leading is footwear with total export turnover in nearly 8 months of 2021 nearly US$2.86 billion. Next is machinery, equipment and spare parts with nearly US$1.52 billion. Wood products are over US$1.4 billion; textiles are over US$1.1 billion; and textile fiber of all kinds are over US$1.1 billion.
Footwear is the
item with the largest export turnover
Although in the past 2 months, the export turnover of the above items has
decreased sharply compared to the first 6 months of the year, if accumulated
for nearly 8 months of the year, the export turnover will still increase by 5 - 69% compared to the same period last year. Currently, the orders from the
enterprises are not lacking, but due to the impact of the epidemic, many companies can
only maintain production about 30 - 60% compared to the first 6 months of the year.
