Specifically, in the first 6 months of 2021, enterprises in Dong Nai exported nearly US$11.6 billion, the supporting industry sector alone accounted for more than US$6.3 billion.

Currently, in the province, there are 650 enterprises investing in supporting industries, most of which are enterprises with foreign direct investment capital. Supporting industrial enterprises invest heavily in the production of raw materials and accessories for the textile, footwear, mechanical and electronic industries. Particularly, the supporting industry for the mechanical engineering industry has over 260 enterprises, accounting for more than 40% of the total number of supporting industry enterprises. The majority of enterprises of supporting industry have employed the modern machinery and equipment in production, so the number of employees using a small number of employees only accounts for 20% of the industry.
