Implement bidding to select the investor for Bien Hoa I Industrial Zone's utility conversion project

According to the Provincial People's Committee, from now until the end of 2021, the provincial authorities will focus on bidding to select investors for the project to convert the utility of Bien Hoa I Industrial Zone (Bien Hoa City) into a commercial and service urban area.

Previously, in January 2021, the Prime Minister issued a document on approving the removal of Bien Hoa I Industrial Zone with a total area of ​​335 hectares out of the Development Plan of Vietnam's Industrial Zones until 2020.

At the same time, the Government also directed the Provincial People's Committee to commit to ensuring the legitimate interests of investors investing in the Industry Zone and people in the area; complying with the order and procedures of the law on management and use of state capital invested in production and business in enterprises in the process of handling assets invested in the industrial zone of Sonadezi Corporation.

In August 2019, the Provincial People's Committee reported in writing to the Prime Minister to remove Bien Hoa I Industrial Zone from the industrial plan in Dong Nai Province. After Bien Hoa I Industrial Zone is approved the removal from the plan, it will be converted into a commercial and service urban area.

As expected by the Provincial People's Committee, in early 2022, compensation for site clearance of Bien Hoa I Industrial Zone will be carried out to implement the project of converting the utility into the commercial and service urban area.
