Regarding animal husbandry, the province's total pig herd by February reached 2 million, down 19.38%. The reason for the sharp decrease is due to the impact of African swine fever. The number of pigs has sharply decreased since the end of 2019, now large-scale enterprises have not been able to regroup.

The total retail sales of goods and services in February 2020 is estimated at over VND 14,828 billion, down 10.42% over the previous month. In the first 2 months, total estimated retail sales of goods and services reached VND 31,300 billion, up 7.42% over the same period. In particular, the state economy increased by more than 5%, the non-state economy increased by 7.61%; Foreign-invested economy increased by 6.68%.

About February merchandise export turnover in the area is estimated to reach over USD 1,475 million, up 3.41% compared to the previous month. In 2 months, it is estimated to reach over USD 2,901 million, up 2.83% over the same period. The reason for the low export in the first 2 months was due to the impact of COVID-19 disease, the export of agricultural products, garments, leather shoes of China market dropped sharply; On the other hand, the textile and electronics industries, due to the main source of raw materials imported from China, have temporarily stopped importing raw materials, resulting in a decline in production, leading to a decrease in export.

Total state budget revenue in the first two months was estimated at VND 11,100 billion, accounting for 21% of the yearly estimate and up 53% over the same period.
