First meeting of Dong Nai Business Association

The Business Association was established with the target to link, support each other in business for mutual development. At this time, the province has 105 units consisting Association, Society, federation of cooperatives, companies and individuals across the province participated in Business Association. Businesses expected that Association will act as a bridge between enterprises and Government; protect the rights and legitimate interests and enhance the competitiveness of the members.
The objective of the Association in tenure is to develop societies and sub-associations in 100% districts, Long Khanh town, Bien Hoa city; striving to increase the average annual percentage of membership 10-15%; regularly organizes service activities supporting the development of business enterprises; gradually develop form of economic cooperation between the enterprises and the implementation of social activities - charity. Association also particularly interests in the set of recommendations, needs and aspirations of its members to the State agency.
The meeting has elected the Association's Executive Board in tenure 2014 – 2019, include 21 members; Examination Board consisting of 3 members. Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Hong, General Director of the Dong Nai Food Industry Corporation was elected as president of the Association. 4 Vice President of the Association, including: Mr. Nguyen Van Danh, Director of the Department of Trade and Industry; Mr. Pham Duc Binh, Chairman of Young Enterprise Club; Mr. Bui Thanh Truc, Chairman of Board of Directors of Agricultural Cooperatives Union and Mr. Nguyen Huu Hieu, Deputy General Director of the Dong Nai Food Industry Corporation (General Secretary of the Business Association).
Delivering instructions at the meeting, Chairman of Provincial People Committee Dinh Quoc Thai said Business Association was established in Dong Nai province to meet expectations of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Committee as well as the Chamber of Industry and Trade of Vietnam. This is an opportunity for business development and integration. Next time, the association should focus to build apparatus stabilization, strengthening links with the Association, other associations in the province. Also proposing, advising the Provincial Party Committee, People's Committee promptly remove difficulties for members as well as the business community. Doing propaganda and to create conditions for the members to participate in social activities, especially in the new rural construction. For departments and agencies in the province, should enable the Association to promote the assigned functions. Chairman confirmed that the Provincial Party Committee, People's Committee will create favorable conditions for the effective implementation of association tasks, outlined directions.
Currently the province has about 19,300 registered enterprises with total registered capital of 120,584 billion VND. In 2013, the tax contributions of state enterprises and business people in the area reached 10,427 billion VND, accounting for nearly 32% of total revenues.
