FDI enterprises invest 6.9 billion USD to supporting industries

According to the Department of Trade and Industry, foreign investment attraction (FDI) to supporting industries in the industrial zones in the province reached 6.9 billion USD.
There are 422 FDI projects in supporting industries, such as textiles, footwear, electronics, components for assembly of automobiles, motorcycles, mechanical equipment machinery ... In particular, the largest investment in textiles with over 1.5 billion USD, followed by the production of components for assembly of automobiles, motorcycles nearly 1.4 billion USD. Field of industrial production support jobs for over 201 thousand employees. However, the raw materials to serve industrial production supported by the province to be imported. Currently supporting industries are the priority areas of the province to attract investment.
