Dongnai province celebrates Vietnamese Entrepreneur Day

In the morning of October 6, The Dongnai Young Enterprise Association in coordination with Dongnai Newspaper held a forum with the theme of “Dongnai Entrepreneurs enter the big sea, WTO”. The forum had the participation of over 20 enterprises in the province and representatives of government agencies. The forum focuses on the following contents: the opportunities and challenges when Vietnam is a member of WTO, how to integrate into active enterprises, how to enhance the competitive capacity, the difficulties of enterprises…

In the morning of October 7, Chairperson of provincial People’s Committee presided over a poll to select 21 excellent entrepreneurs of the province in 2006. Among 21 excellent entrepreneurs, 4 businessmen had been awarded as the “Typical Vietnamese Entrepreneur in 2006”. They are Mr. Tran Ba Duong, President and General Director of Truong Hai Auto Company; Mr. Quach Van Duc, General Director of Tin Nghia Compay; Mrs. Chu Thi Thu, President of Sonadezi Company and Mr. Vu Ngoc Thuan, General Director of Dongnai Garment Company. In the evening of October 13, the ceremony will be held at provincial Square to honor these excellent entrepreneurs.

In the evening of October 11, the Dongnai Young Enterprise Association will hold its second congress at the provincial square. In this congress, the Association will officially increase its members from 50 to 150 members in all fields of economy.

From eleventh to sixteenth of October, a trade fair and exhibition entitled “The rendezvous of Entrepreneurs” will be held. The trade fair is expected to attract over 100 enterprises displaying over 210 stores. Unlike other normal fair, this year trade fair just focuses on displaying and introducing high-quality products and famous/prestigious brand names in all fields such as garment, textile, electronic devices, domestic tools, construction material, handicraft…In addition, music show and exchange and fashion show will be performed every night.
