Dong Nai to promote investment in Taiwan

Within the framework of the investment promotion program in Taiwan on July 14th, Dong Nai delegation led by Deputy Chairwoman of Provincial People’s Committee – Ms. Nguyen Hoa Hiep, organized the first workshop that attracted over 180 enterprises from Kaohsiung (Taiwan); Deputy Secretary of Provincial Committee also presented at the workshop.
Speaking at the opening of the workshop, Deputy Chairwoman Nguyen Hoa Hiep said that until June, 2016, Dong Nai had had 1228 valid FDI projects with the total registered capital of nearly 25 billion USD including 286 Taiwan projects with the total registered capital of over 5.15 billion USD. Many Taiwan trademarks which are very popular in Dong Nai include: Vedan, Kenda, VPIC, VMEP… Taiwan Enterprises with effective production have been having great contributions in Dong Nai socioeconomic developments. The Deputy Chairwoman also sent a message “The Government is always with the Enterprises” to show that Dong Nai shall always be the secure, attractive destination where Taiwan investors shall want to find the business opportunities and success.
Taiwan enterprises that took part in the workshop shared that they were provided with a lot of useful information about Dong Nai – Vietnam. That shall be the basis for them to consider investing in Dong Nai.
*Previously on July 13th, the delegation had a meeting with Kaohsiung city authorities and another meeting with the Southern Institute of Administration under Taiwan Government in Kaohsiung.
