Dong Nai to be among the top provinces to attract FDI in the first 2 months this year

According to the Dong Nai Industrial Zones Authority, up until February 20th, Dong Nai province has attracted 463 million USD of FDI, reaching 46.3% of the plan in 2016 and increasing 3 – 4 times as last year, which makes it become one of the top provinces to attract FDI in the whole nation.
Among the recent FDI attracting projects, there were 14 new investment projects certified with the total registered capital of 169 million USD and 17 old investment projects with new investment capital of 298.8 million USD more. Nhon Trach, Long Duc, Giang Dien industrial zones attracted the most new investment projects, in which, Nhon Trach industrial zone 3 (phase 2) attracted 4 projects with the total capital of over 64 million USD. Taiwan is the lead country in direct investment in Dong Nai in the first 2 months in 2016 with 4 projects with total registered capital of 125 million USD. There are 5 projects with the investment capital of over 10 million USD each, in which, the manufactory project of Promax Textile Co. Ltd had the registered capital of 55 million USD; the Great Kingdom Co. Ltd’s project to Giang Dien industrial zone had the invested capital of 50 million USD. The new investment projects are in multiple sectors and suitable for the provincial investment attracting orientation, in which, 5 projects are in supporting industry sectors in mechanic and textile.
