Dong Nai Agriculture prepares for the international playground

Central Theoretical Council and Dong Nai provincial Party Committee recently held scientific seminar on "practical industrialization - modernization of agriculture and rural development and new rural construction in Dong Nai provinces." Prof. Phung Huu Phu, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, a permanent member of the Steering Committee summarizes 30 years of innovation and Secretary of Party Committee Tran Dinh Thanh co-chaired the seminar.
Agricultural production of Dong Nai increased over the years
At the seminar, Deputy Chairman Vo Van Chanh said, agricultural production value of Dong Nai is higher than the national average of 0.7% and increased over the years. In 2000, reached more than 4,500 billion VND; by 2010, reaching more than 7,700 billion VND. Besides, the agricultural structure are relatively clear shift towards reducing the proportion of cultivated areas and increasing the proportion of livestock and agricultural services. There are achievements in the province thanks to built and develop the relations of production in the direction of major manufacturers, formed the production model of scale farms, cooperative economy ... More specifically, Dong Nai is also at the forefront of applying new technical advances, implementation of mechanization in agriculture in order to increase efficiency, productivity and quality of agricultural products. The province has formed many vegetable production areas agricultural practice good VietGAP, water-saving irrigation technology ... In breeding has been applied many new methods such as raising pigs in pens cold, herbal chicken, biological padding applications
And to improve productivity, labor efficiency and reduce post-harvest losses, the province has accelerated agricultural mechanization. In cultivation, the transportation of materials and stitching agricultural products, watering, weeding ... was mechanized from 85% to 95%. Most prominent in the process of renewing the agricultural sector of Dong Nai, which is already mounted process of industrialization and modernization of agriculture and rural development with the implementation of the national target program on building new rural. One of the reasons was the delegates raised at the seminar was the lack of uniformity of policy supporting system for businesses operating in the agriculture sector. Dong Nai has more than 8,000 companies operating in the agricultural sector and rural areas, but mostly small enterprises, micro and not sufficient to implement large projects. Shortcomings in land and capital for these enterprises makes them difficult to access the preferences while foreign investors to get a lot of great deals of incentives.
