According to the Department of Planning and Investment, the need to support those in need due to the Covid-19 epidemic is huge with a total estimated budget of more than 917 billion dong, of which more than VND 122 billion will be borrowed from the Provincial Social Policy Bank.
At the meeting, Vice Chairman Nguyen Hoa Hiep highly appreciated the spirit of the people, departments, sectors and unions over the past time, having well implemented the Government's Directive in disease prevention and control; however, it is necessary to maintain the social distancing until April 22, 2020 to avoid the disease spreading to the community, seriously implement the regulations to achieve the current results, avoiding unfortunate situations. Social security still faces many difficulties due to prolonged unemployment, which causes social evils, so Social Insurance needs to focus on addressing unemployment insurance requirements, avoid gathering in large numbers, ensure hygiene and safety at the office. The Management Board of Industrial Zones cooperates with the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs to classify and get accurate data of workers facing difficulties to coordinate to help and solve problems; Increasing funding sources to timely support disadvantaged people in society, avoiding omissions or not the right subjects.
