Creating favorable conditions for Korean companies

The Chairman of provincial People’s Committee, Mr. Dinh Quoc Thai had a meeting with Mr. Park Noh Wan, new Consul General of The Republic of Korea in Ho Chi Minh City visiting and working in Dong Nai Province.
At the meeting, Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai said that in recent years, the Korean companies have boosted the investment on Dong Nai. Currently, Dong Nai has more than 1,100 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects with total registered capital at $25bl, in which Korea has more than 300 projects with total value of $5bl, rose to be the leading country invested in Dong Nai. According to him, almost Korean companies investing on Dong Nai are in good business production and development with smooth operation. From the beginning of this year, the province have attracted more than $1bl of FDI capital in both new and extend investment sectors, in which the Korean companies’ investment account for $700ml. Dong Nai has been always paying attention and creating the most favorable conditions for the development of Korean companies.

Mr. Park Noh Wan appreciated the attention of provincial leaders to Korean companies. Meanwhile, he hoped that the province continues to hold company meeting, supports to resolve the difficulties for Korean companies in the area. Mr. Park Noh Wan said that the signed Free Trade Agreement between Vietnam and Korea is a favorable conditions to both parties’ companies to expand the investment and develop in all fields.
