By 30-6, the surface of Phan Thiet - Dau Giay expressway is basically completed

The total length of the Phan Thiet - Dau Giay expressway project cross through Dong Nai province is 51.5 km, running through 4 districts and cities, which are: Xuan Loc, Thong Nhat, Cam My and Long Khanh districts. Collected land area is about 412.5 ha. There are 1,250 households, individuals and organizations affected, of which in Thong Nhat district are 65 households, in Long Khanh City are 27 households, in Cam My district are 284 households and in Xuan Loc district are 874 households.

Currently, the ground clearance for projects in localities such as Cam My district, Thong Nhat district and Long Khanh City has basically been completed, the compensation, capital allocation plan and organizing payment for households, individuals and organizations whose land is recovered have been accomplished.

Particularly in Xuan Loc district, due to the large area of land that needs to be recovered, the implementation progress is slower than other localities, the total amount of compensation and support is more than 1,454 billion VND, expected to pay compensation in first round for 325/522 cases with a total amount of more than 400 billion VND in May 2020, the remaining 197/522 cases are completing documents, preparing plans and submitting for appraisal and expectation for approval in May. -2020. Phase 2 has 352 households, individuals and organizations, the provincial People's Committee has submitted a written request to the Ministry of Transport to approve the plan of compensation, support and resettlement.

Regarding the arrangement of area resettlement and construction of Thong Nhat district and Long Khanh City has basically been completed; In Cam My district, there are 44 households having to arrange resettlement, the district has conducted the measurement, inventory of the situation, making compensation and support plans as prescribed. Xuan Loc district has more than 200 households having to arrange resettlement, currently the district is implementing procedures to build resettlement areas for these households. According to calculations by Xuan Loc district, households may be allowed to temporarily reside if the resettlement area is not completed.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Quoc Hung said that it is expected to complete the clearance of 43km / 51.5 km before 30-6, the remaining 8 km will be slower due to the additional expenses.

Also at the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Ngoc Dong highly appreciated the implementation of provincial project clearance. According to the general progress, the site clearance will basically be completed by June 30, 2020 to hand over the ground to the project to ensure the requirements of the Government. Particularly, 8km in the area of Xuân Loc district, which had problems due to the compensation and support budget increased compared to the total initial investment of the province, also proposed the Ministry of Transport to supplement the funding. The Ministry of Transport leaders also proposed Xuan Loc district to formulate a detailed plan and need to set up a budget closely in June 2020 to avoid arising problems later of which shall be difficult to handle.
