Phong Thai Kindergarten construction’s scale is over 3 hectares, including more than 30 classrooms, function rooms, outdoor playground, the school has the capacity to receive over 800 children. Dong Phuong dormitory has a total initial investment of more than USD 10 million, including 3 4-storey blocks with 608 rooms, accommodating about 5 thousand people. The dormitory is equipped with cable TV system, internet, reading room, gym ... With each project, workers have to pay about VND 500,000 per month for electricity, water, labor and protection costs, the remaining amount will be paid by the enterprise.

Besides large corporations, many businesses operating in Trang Bom district also reserved land, money to invest in building houses for workers. In particular, there is Great Veca Co., Ltd. (Song May Industrial Park, Bac Son commune) to build a 3-storey dormitory, with 152 rooms and currently has about 400 workers hiring with the cost of 50,000 VND / person / month; Vietnam Precision Industry Joint Stock Company (Ho Nai Industrial Zone, Ho Nai 3 Commune) built a dormitory with over 100 rooms for single people and workers' families. Each room in the dormitory is equipped with: fan, lockers, washing machine, refrigerator ... This dormitory currently has about 400 residents at a cost of VND 100,000 / person / month. In addition, some businesses invest in building rooms for rent, rented rooms near the company for workers.

Along with the investment in housing construction, cost support for theseconstruction to operate smoothly, these businesses also regularly create conditions for mass organizations in the enterprise to organize cultural, arts activities and sport for helping workers and their relatives to improve their spiritual life.

Retaining human resource solution

According to the share of businesses, the investment in building welfare construction for workers is a way for businesses to stabilize human resources, towards sustainable development.

With the thought, happy and healthy workers will work more effectively, Pousung Vina Co., Ltd. (Bau Xeo Industrial Park, Doi 61 commune) spent about 10 billion VND and nearly 50,000 m2 of land to build a series of physical sport facilities for workers.

Mr. Le Nhat Truong, Head of Personnel Department of Pousung Vina Co., Ltd said, since investing in the factory construction, the company has considered investing in service facilities for workers. Accordingly, the company spends 1.6 thousand m2 to build offices, conference rooms, study rooms for Party Cells and Unions such as Trade Union, Youth Union, to work and live.

During the process of profitable production and business, enterprises continue to invest in building sport areas including: 3 football fields, 2 volleyball courts, badminton courts, ping-pong courts and basketball courts for workers’ entertainments after working hours, on holidays. "This investment helps employees have space to exercise health, thereby working more effectively" - Mr. Truong said.

Mr. Le Duc Thuy, Chairman of the Labor Union of Trang Bom District said that, although the number of enterprises investing in construction of housing, schools and sports facilities for workers is not much, this is a signal for seeing that businesses are gradually paying more attention to material and spiritual life for workers in industrial zones. Also according to Mr. Thuy, in the enterprises with superior welfare regime for employees, the rate of labor fluctuation is very low, the labor relations are stable, enterprises are constantly expanding the factory's scale.

In accordance with the representative of Trang Bom District, the business interest in building houses, amusement parks for workers, schools for children of workers has contributed to reduce the pressure of investing in infrastructure for the locality. In the upcoming time, the locality continues to mobilize and create favorable conditions for enterprises to join hands with the district in addressing the urgent needs of laborers, contributing to the sustainable development of enterprises and localities.
