Accelerating the completion of the socio-economic planning of Dong Nai Province in the period of 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050 in order to maximize resources, potentials, advantages and planning of effective and reasonable space development, connecting with the regional and national development. This is one of the solutions identified by the Provincial People's Committee to implement the socio-economic development, national defense-security plan in the last 6 months of 2021 in the province.

On July 14, 2020, the Prime Minister of the Government issued a decision approving the planning task of Dong Nai province for the period of 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050. After that, the Provincial People's Committee had a decision approving the estimate of Dong Nai Province planning in the period of 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050 with a total expense budget of more than VND75 billion. Financing source for the implementation is from the state budget (the capital for planning is from the public investment capital).
On August 19, the Provincial People's Committee also made a decision on the establishment of the Appraisal Council for the contractor selection plan for the planning of Dong Nai Province in the period of 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050. The Appraisal Council will organize the appraisal of the contractor selection plan for the planning of Dong Nai Province in the period of 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050 in accordance with the law on the public investment, planning and other related legal regulations.
The socio-economic planning of Dong Nai Province in the period of 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050 is the first time that Dong Nai Province together with the whole country has made the provincial planning in accordance with the regulations of the Planning Law. The socio-economic planning of Dong Nai Province in the period of 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050 will integrate all sectors, fields and territories in a multi-sector master plan on the development space of the whole province. The Provincial Planning needs to ensure the characteristics of national and regional planning, thereby serving as a basis for development for each locality.
