A delegation from Cambodian Ministry of Planning exchange experiences in Dong Nai

On July 04, a working mission from Cambodian Ministry of Planning (MOP) led by Mr. Sourn Sokhim, Deputy State Secretary of Cambodian MOP visited and exchanged experiences with the province’s Department of Planning and Investment in making and managing the state’s plan
According to the Department of Planning and Investment, in order to fulfill the set targets, Dong Nai has worked out strategy for socio-economic development for 10 -15 years basing on the overall strategy of the country. And development strategic plan is also made for each industry, sector in conformity with the overall plan. Leaders of Dong Nai province is now enhancing to mobilize social capital, calling for investment, ODA loans for constructions of roads, schools, hospitals, etc.
Mr. Sourn Sokhim said that Cambodian Ministry of Planning is only formulating public investment plan for national and local projects. Funding source for these projects mostly comes from the government, contribution of enterprises and foreign assistance loans.
