25 more biogas works come into use

In the first six months this year, the agricultural encouragement station of Thong Nhat district in cooperation with Dutch Ministry of Cooperation and Development (the Netherlands Development Organization-SNV) organized checking and brought into use 25 biogas works of the project “Biogas Program for Vietnamese Animal Husbandry Sector”.

Each work will be assisted with VND1.2 million. So, after seven years of deploying the project in Thong Nhat district, there are about 400 biogas works coming into use. As evaluated by the agricultural encouragement station of Thong Nhat district, those works have upheld its effectiveness. It helped raisers improve environment and at the same time have fuel from this gas to serve their production and daily use. As reported, in the coming time, along with planning concentrated animal husbandry areas, the agricultural encouragement station of Thong Nhat district will encourage and support as well as assist in terms of techniques for raisers to build more biogas works.
