Xuan Loc district inaugurates the biggest Minster for Muslim followers.

Cham people living in hamlet 4th, Xuan Loc district and Muslim followers from provinces of Tay Ninh, Binh Thuan, Binh Phuoc, An Giang and Ho Chi Minh City on Sunday 15th of January were eager to join the opening ceremony of the Nourul Eshan Muslim minster, the biggest one in Vietnam.
The minster was started construction in mid 2003 at a cost of 2.8 billion VND donated by local people, the Red Crescent Association of the Republic of Saudi Arabia and Vietnamese oversea.
The minster was constructed on the location of the old minster built in 1972. Thanks to the supports of Party and authorities at various levels, especially the granting of 3,500 square meters of land, the new Nourul Eshan minster lies by the side of national road one, a favorable position for Muslim followers and conduct religious ritual. The construction of the minster is evidence satisfying to the fact that Vietnam Party and Government always respect religious freedom of Vietnamese people.
