The 5th Sport Festival for Resources and Environment sector of southern provinces concluded

Organizer awarded the first prize of tennis event (mixed double content)

    The 5th Sport Festival for Resources and Environment sector of southern provinces and cities is hosted by Department of Resources and Environment of Dongnai province. The festival has the participation of 500 players from 18 delegations of Department of Resources and Environment in southern provinces and cities and Construction Land –Survey Company. The festival has 5 events: mini football, badminton (men’s single, women’s single, mixed double), tennis (men’s single, men’s double), volleyball and billiards.

    The organizers have awarded 33 first, second and third prizes to teams with best results. The first prize consists of a cup and flowers.  Teams that win second and third prizes are awarded with commemorative flag and flowers. Dongnai host team wins second prize and fair play prize in the content of mini football, second prize of men’s double of badminton and tennis.

Mr. Le Viet Hung, chief of organization board, transfers the traditional flag of festival to representative of host of the 6th Sport Festival for Resources and Environment 2009.

    According to organizers, the great success of this festival is to create a close relationship among Department of Resources and Environment of provinces and cities in the southern region. Cadres, public servants, officials in this sector have chance to exchange professional experience. At the ending ceremony, Mr. Le Viet Hung, chief of organization board, has transferred the traditional flag of festival to representative of Department of Resources and Environment of Ho Chi Minh City, host of the 6th Sport Festival for Resources and Environment 2009.
