Dong Nai Rubber Company celebrates its 30th anniversary and receives 2nd grade Independence Medal

In the morning of June 2, at the hall of Suoi Tre Resort, Dong Nai Rubber Company hold a ceremony to mark 30th anniversary of its foundation ( June 2nd 1975 – June 2nd 2005).

 The company was awarded the 2nd grade Independence Medal by State President.

All the staff of Dong Nai Rubber Company in all time has tried their best to overcome difficulties and obstacles in the past years as to speed up the company’s development. Up to now, their production has been kept stable and obtained good results. Living standards of their employees have been raised higher than before. At present, it has the total cultivated area of 37,853 hectares with a new high-yield variety, 1.5fold higher than that of the foundation year 1975. Thanks to application of modern techniques to cultivate and take care of rubber trees, in 2004 it has reaches the annual average yield of rubber latex of 1.5 tones per hectare, tripling that of 1975. Besides, it has installed new and modern machinces to increased its output by 7 times and to produce diversified products with high quality.

Dong Nai is one of the leading company having the best facilities in the rubber industry in Viet Nam.

During the past 30 years, it has taken an active part in charity programs.  It has built 315 houses for local people and supported 800 millions VND to build houses for beneficiaries of social welfare outside province It also contributed another VND 500 millions to build houses for the poor people. It has supported 4 heoric mothers to the rest of their lives.

Having obtained many achievements, it has been awarded eight 2nd grade Independence Medals and ten first grade Labour Medals, 17 second grade labour medals and many other precious medals Especially, the company received the 2nd grade Independence Medal on this occasion of the 30th anniversary of its establishment.
