Workers Increase Their Productivity Before the Lunar New Year Break

At Tessellation Dong Nai Co., Ltd. (Amata Industrial Park, Bien Hoa City), over 1,000 workers are also busy with end-of-year tasks. In the production workshops, workers are diligently completing garments to ensure the order deadlines and production plans of the company.

A company representative stated that the orders are currently stable, ensuring work for the employees. To motivate the workers during the Lunar New Year 2025, the company is offering a bonus equivalent to one month's salary, and the grassroots union is providing gifts to all union members. Recently, the company has coordinated with the union to pay attention to employees, organizing activities such as leisure trips, sports competitions, annual health check-ups, providing 24/7 accident insurance, and offering gifts for various holidays. As a result, workers feel secure and committed to the company, enhancing their responsibility in their work.

Ms. Pham Thi Phuong, Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Mabuchi Motor Vietnam Limited (Bien Hoa 2 Industrial Park), shared that at the end of the year, workers are more enthusiastic as the company guarantees salary increases, bonuses for the Lunar New Year, and other policies. The Lunar New Year bonus ranges from 2 to 2.7 months' salary per person. Additionally, the grassroots union is preparing over 3,500 gift packages for workers. “I can feel the hardworking spirit of the workers when all policies are ensured, creating motivation for them to stay committed to the company," she shared.

A representative of Ishikawa Metal Processing Company Limited (Bien Hoa City) indicated that some components and products of the company are now directly exported to foreign brands and partners. Therefore, the company is focusing on production, creating a busy and urgent working atmosphere for the employees to complete signed orders as soon as possible.

Reports from various companies indicate that this year, many businesses are allocating significant funds to support the union in caring for workers during the Lunar New Year. Nguyen Thi My Linh, General Director of Viet Vinh Dong Nai Footwear Co., Ltd., stated that to acknowledge the contributions of workers over the past year, the company organized a year-end gathering through a year-end program to express heartfelt thanks to the staff, union members, and workers. This is also an opportunity for company leaders to connect with employees and extend New Year's wishes to all workers.

According to Ms. Linh, the company's goal for 2025 is to achieve excellent quality, ensure occupational safety and hygiene, and maintain discipline in the workforce. Therefore, the company calls on workers to unite and make further efforts to improve product quality, build a better working environment, and contribute to the company's sustainable development. Additionally, the company and the union are giving nearly 1,700 gift packages to workers in difficult circumstances, each valued at 1 million VND.

All companies are simultaneously organizing year-end parties, gatherings, and gift-giving to create additional trust and motivation for the workers. Ms. Nguyen Thi Ly, a worker at Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park, shared that during the last working days of the year, she feels a lot of joy because the union and the company have special welfare policies for workers, especially those in difficult situations.

Ms. Ly said, “At the end of the year, the work atmosphere in the company is busier, but I and many workers are happy because the company has fully implemented welfare activities for the Lunar New Year. We work at full capacity with the hope that in the new year, our income and jobs will continue to improve, and the company will develop to further enhance the living standards of workers."

According to the provincial Labor Union, in 2024, companies have maintained production and business activities, ensuring jobs and income for workers. Additionally, they have improved welfare policies through collective labor agreements to provide workers with a good working environment and ensure occupational safety. With these policies, workers are motivated to enhance productivity, continue to innovate, and contribute to the socio-economic development of the province.​
