Dong Nai Customs Department is currently carrying out procedures for more than 4.7 thousand enterprises, belonging to 39 industrial parks and export processing zones in the two provinces of Dong Nai and Binh Thuan. The volume of goods with import-export turnover accounts for nearly 10% of the total turnover of the country.

In Dong Nai province, at present, more than 70% of goods in the form of processing, manufacturing for export and export processing enterprises are exempt from tax or not subject to tax; the remaining 30% of goods are raw materials imported by enterprises to produce goods to be sold domestically with low tax rates, mainly value added tax. Sharing about the efforts of the Customs industry over the past time, Ms. Phung Thi Bich Huong, Director of Dong Nai Department of Customs said that in recent years, the import-export turnover of Dong Nai had always increased, this was a condition for Dong Nai to maintain its source sustainable state budget revenue. Reviewing revenue from branches

As the unit with the leading state budget revenue in the province, Nhon Trach Customs Branch always strives to find new sources of revenue, improve service quality in customs clearance, and create favorable conditions for businesses to operate. In 2022, Nhon Trach Customs Branch had 68 new businesses carried out customs procedures at Nhon Trach Customs Branch, increased state budget revenue by about VND 500 billion.

Mr. Pham Quang Quoc, Head of Nhon Trach Customs Branch said that in the past time, in order to complete the task of collecting state budget, Nhon Trach Customs Branch had always closely monitored and mastered the situation of production and business, import activities of large enterprises in the area, in which they regularly discussed with 20 enterprises with high tax payment (accounting for over 80% of the unit's total state budget revenue) to grasp the revenue source and promptly solve the difficulties and obstacles, creating favorable conditions for import-export activities of these enterprises. In addition, the Customs Sub-department promoted contact and developed revenue from new businesses, enterprises expanding investment projects, etc. At the same time, maintained stable revenue sources of businesses registered for customs procedures at the unit. Attracting new businesses was always done in parallel with maintaining and protecting revenue from a group of businesses operating stably in the area... In addition, with the current characteristics of enterprises declaring and paying taxes themselves, the Customs industry also strengthened post-clearance inspection to promptly detect and promptly handle cases of enterprises intentionally cheating, causing loss of state budget revenue.
