The Agriculture sector has issued multiple support policies for OCOP products

( News Portal – Dong Nai) – Since the beginning of the year, the Agriculture sector has provided guidance to support the completion of documents for subjects whose products register to participate in the OCOP (One Commune One Product) Program in 2023.

The industry has coordinated with departments and sectors to organize a training conference to deploy the criteria and procedures for evaluating and classifying OCOP products and reporting to the Provincial People's Committee; organized training courses for preparing documents to demonstrate "Food Safety Criteria" in evaluating and classifying products of the OCOP Program.  

In particular, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development is also very interested in supporting, promoting and advertising OCOP products. Specifically, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development actively coordinates with departments, sectors and localities to promptly inform associations, businesses, cooperatives and people about domestic and international agricultural product market developments; Vietnam's import needs and main export markets for solutions to organize production; timely guidance for farmers to produce and consume agricultural products. Specific support includes: information on customs clearance situation at border gates; request 18 OCOP products to be granted 3-star and 4-star OCOP certification from 8 entities for widespread publication on the media channels of the Vietnam Record Organization; organize Fruit Festival and promote agricultural products and OCOP products in Dong Nai province in 2023; organize the Fresh Banana Export Ceremony and durian export to the Chinese market; participate in fairs to introduce and promote agricultural products of the province.
