Taking advantage of opportunities in export and import activities

(News Portal – Dong Nai) - On December 13, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the People's Committee of Binh Duong Province organized a conference on trade promotion to expand export and import markets in the Southeast region focusing on "Taking advantage of opportunities – Sustainable new strategies".

The conference was held in a combined format (online and offline) with about 300 delegates attending, including representatives of the People's Committee, departments and sectors of 6 provinces and cities in the Southeast region including: Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Binh Phuoc, Tay Ninh; leaders of units and departments under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Vietnamese trade offices abroad, industry associations, representatives of foreign business support agencies and organizations, and a large number of manufacturing, exporting, importing, trade, logistics services,... enterprises.
Representing Dong Nai province were leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade, the Provincial Trade Promotion Center and many businesses, who attended the conference, as well as participated in promotional and trade connection activities on the sidelines of the conference.
The conference was divided into two main parts: a presentation on identifying export and import market opportunities for goods in the Southeast region, and a discussion on solutions to support businesses in the Southeast region to steadily develop in export and import activities...
At the conference, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Phan Thi Thang shared that the conference focused on exchanging and discussing solutions to strengthen the import and export ecosystem; promote production links, connect export and import partners, introduce the potential and strengths of the Southeast region, promote the image and brand of industries and products of localities in the Southeast region.
At the same time, it was the place to share market information, international trade trends, export opportunities, and support businesses to effectively exploit free trade agreements (FTAs) that Vietnam had signed to develop products, diversify markets and supply chains, promote export and import.
