Strengthen brand promotion channels for Nhon Trach district's OCOP products

​(News Portal – Dong Nai) - Inspection group No. 5 of the Steering Committee of the Campaign for Vietnamese people to prioritize using Vietnamese goods (Steering Committee 264) of the province led by a representative of the Department of Industry and Trade has just inspected the implementation of the campaign “Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" (referred to as the campaign) in Nhon Trach district. Joining the inspection group was Vice Chairman of the Provincial Women's Union Phi Thi Thu Ha.

The inspection group conducted a survey at Phuc Bao facility - specializing in producing and trading Phu Hoi tea in Phu Hoi commune and Vi Vuong business household - specializing in producing and trading products like scorched rice with pork floss, beef jerky (Phu Dong commune).

Working with the Campaign Committee 264 of Nhon Trach district, representatives of the Department of Industry and Trade shared that in the coming time, the locality should continue to promote propaganda and implementation of the campaign in various methods; continue to coordinate with the Department of Industry and Trade to organize activities to connect Vietnamese goods, implement a price stabilization program in the district...

The locality needs to strengthen inspection and propaganda on food safety, protect consumer rights, prevent counterfeit goods, trade fraud... At the same time, strengthen support activities for production establishments, cooperatives, especially district OCOP entities participating in trade promotion programs, industrial promotion, develop production chains associated with goods consumption, bringing products to the province's e-commerce platform... 

According to the Campaign Committee 264 of Nhon Trach district, in recent times, the district Campaign Committee has coordinated to increase the implementation of propaganda activities about the meaning and importance of the campaign to create a change in awareness, in consumers' shopping and usage habits of Vietnamese products through Vietnamese sales programs, price stabilization programs and through mass media, leaflets and propaganda banners. ... In particular, since 2022, the district has coordinated with the Trade Promotion Center (Department of Industry and Trade) and businesses to organize 4 sales fairs as part of the program to bring Vietnamese goods to rural areas in the locality. ​
